From June 16th to June 20th, Cairo's 1st Refugee Film Festical will screen a wide range of movies featuring the trials and tribulations of refugees from Iraq, Sudan, Armenia, Palestine, Cambodia, Honduras, Afghanistan and Congo. Through showcasing fiction and documentary films that humanize the refugee narratives, the festival aims to bring these narratives into the public sphere.The festival will also display work from photography and film making workshops held in early June, bringing together Egyptians and Refugees as well as provide a space for performances by Egyptian and refugee musicians.

The Festival will be held at the Rawabet Space for Performing Arts (Hussien Al Me'maar St. - off Champolion - Downtown)
